The big sail of the Sweetpeas…

After a huge breakfast and some sugar for me, Jaspar woke up, and made his SweetPea ready for the huge leg, we would do today. The goal was the west-Nautilus passage up to Corsica, with the last stop for today at Fungbluf. Jeffrey, he has a really nice place up there, with a marina, invited us, and came along on the ride.

So we started with a bit delay at the TrYC further north. A very nice route, with sweet wind from the south, making things a lot easier. It was very pleasant that it turned early that day, after all the eastern land-wind.

The west-Nautilus passage is at some points really narrow, but if the Ushuaia can make it, it was no problem at all with the SweetPeas. Jasp knew the way, and thanks to the USB and a very good route, we made it in a pretty nice time.

We left the narrow waters, to more open water, big channels up north, and the scenery got better and better. If you think the Blake Sea is nice, you want to see these areas! Almost no “Mainland” to see, just very nice coastal areas. Perfect spot to start a journey into this part of the world would be the Gateway Marina. We saw islands, castles and so much more, it was mind blowing. Marty and I were both amazed by this area, and also were Jaspar and Jeff. We stayed in contact using the RainbowSails YC – Synapse (it’s a radio).

After a very long tour, we finally arrived at Fungbulf. Even though it is a bit hidden, is is a wonderful place. Jeff invited us for some Mimosas and we enjoyed some time together after we tuck up and in the boats nicely behind one another. The perfect place for spending some days of vacation, before we take on the next leg.

Two Peas in a Pot …

Jasper started early the other day, and Marty and I took some days just for us. Next to some quality time with my man, I also used the moment to repaint and finally name our SweetPea. Now she is called “Little Fireman”.

On this morning, due to some conversations on the mobile with Jaspar, I decided to start the next leg, very pleasing I have to say with southern wind. Marty was still, snug as a bug in a rug, sleeping in the cabin, as the first breeze filled the sails and took us up north again.

The sun just came up, and painted the scenery into nice purple shades of light.

Wardroom became smaller and smaller behind the Little Fireman, and Triumphal was the goal to reach. The morningly wind freshened up a bit, and the water spray kept me awake. The waves and sounds of the sails and the mast, woke up my private fire fighter, so he crawled out of the sleeping bag and jumped into something not Adams costume like. Still yawning we sailed together the last part of this leg of the “around the World Tour”.

Triumphal was close, and I could feel his urge for a morning tea, and some real breakfast, just as my body craved something like that.

We set the boat ashore on the beach in Triumphal at the yacht club, and enjoyed our time together, waiting for Jaspar, because that was just the beginning today.

Two Peas in a Pot

But in our case more like three peas in two pots. Jaspar, my best friend got a great idea. Sailing around the known world with the Bandit Sweetpea. We weren’t with him on his first tour, but we caught up with him at Tunbuckle, so he would have company on his trip. When we finally could start sailing, the night came over, and we sailed most of the tine in moonlight.

We, was not just Jaspar and I, but Jaspar, Marty and me together. Our little cruise took us along the wonderful scenery of the southern coast of Nautilus Island, more far to the east and south. Kings Port was our destination, and with the soft and steady wind blowing from north-east we made nice 5 to 7 knots. The perfect speed to enjoy the view.

When we arrived at Kings Port, the sun was risen and gave us the most beautiful blue heaven, and sparkling water. After all that sailing, we enjoyed some zip lining at that little pirates outpost, before we sailed back  north to Wardroom, to stay for the day and the night.

VCG – We help you, if we are online…

Some of you might know, that the VCG is the Virtual Coast Guard, helping with sea-emergencies on several SL continents. I am a member for three years now, even tho I wasn’t very active the last two years.

I decided to become a bit more involved again. So I grabbed my partner in crime, and my VCG-partner Jaspar, to have some more tours around the Blake Sea again. Here we are in his D-109 (I hope i am not mixing up Choppers) doing the rounds.

The Ghost Town – A MadPea Adventure…

… or how Lara Silverfall meets Martin “Rambo” Mendle

It all began as a totally ordinary day, as Lara Silverfall opened her mailbox and found a note. There was no sender, nothing to trace this letter back, but what she read was disturbing, and … intriguing.

A darkness controls the soul. A darkness that drives a good man to unfathomable depths of depravity. No one is safe from the murky evil that lurks inside…not you….not me.
Discover the demons that compelled an honest, home-loving man to a murderous spiral of insanity. Capture for eternity the lost souls of his victims and walk among the dead of The Ghost Town.

Her interest was piqued, and she followed all the leads, until Lara finally found the lost fisher town, more a village, like thousands of its kind. But something was different, she could feel it, a darkness was hovering over this place, lurking in its shadows, waiting for one wrong step.

Soon she found an old journal, and the typical old guy, telling horror stories about this tiny town. After reading through the journal, she knew, she had to find all the souls, still wandering this place, haunting it.

But there was something else, a feeling, that she wasn’t alone at this god forsaken place. When she arrived at the town center, someone jumped her from behind, she was ready to defend herself, but strong arms closed in on her and pulled back, right when a piece of wall fell out of nowhere and would have buried the huntress.

Her saviour was no one less, than Martin “Rambo” Mendle, friendly, kind and armed to the teeth. They decided, that it would be more save together, so both hunters tagged along, to relief the lost souls together.

It was a bloody hunt, the cruelties they had to witness will follow them forever. The souls, the ghosts, twisted, stuck in their last final moments of pain, relive their horrors enduring, over and over again, waiting for help.

The dangers of this place, scared the heroes of this story, but this ghost town, also brought them closer together. In the end, they waited for the fairy.. together.

That was a little excursion to the adventures of Lara Silverfall, I know lots of you love to read about her. This Madpea-Adventure is free, and around since December 19th 2015. After being disappointed by the Interview, i thought i will give this one a try, and I had such a blast!

My boyfriend Marty tagged along, and it was his first MadPea-Adventure, and I am pretty sure he is sold. The Ghosts were not too easy to find, but not to hard, the HUD was working great, just as we are used to, and the atmosphere was amazing. For the extra creepy feelings I changed my windlight settings a bit.

I really hope you will check it out yourself, it will be around for a bit, but I am not sure for how long, so be fast! My final result, a total must have, for every SL-adventurer out there!

Underwater Date

My third date with Marty was a special one, because it was no talking more swimming and diving. He took me to an underwater date. Tho in german there is a phrase saying “something fell into the water” translates to “something fell through”.

This date literally fell into the water, but it didn’t “fell into the water” if you catch my drift.

He took me to a diving spot I never had been too. It was beautiful. Wale watching, sharks and a turtle, and lots of sea weed and other underwater flora and fauna to enjoy.

We even found a Captain Jack Sparrow in a treasure chest. But my camera wasn’t ready that fast.

I do love diving, so I think this date was a great idea and deserves a nice song, of one of my favorite Disney movies AND one of my favorite artists. Under the sea … *hums*

A long overdue Family Day

My long-term readers know that I have a kid and that kid has a Dad. We separated on good terms and still take both care of our boy. Since we hadn’t much time together lately, we were able to have a family day just yesterday, and we had so much fun.

Jurasic Park- Family Portrait-CD

Kantows, that is Damiens Daddy, had the great Idea to take us out to a dinosaurs park.

Since I love the T-Rex best, I picked this song to go with it, I hope you will find it as catchy as I do. We all had such a great bonding time together, and it felt really family like again, even more, like nothing had ever shifted or changed during the last year.

Damien even told us what happens when to people get a room, “they start sleeping because everyone knows, that babies come from the birds!” God my son is soo wise, how could I ever doubt that child-logic?!

But the park was great, the dinosaurs were kind, and had eaten, so we could get close to them, on one Damien could even sit for a moment, to take a picture.

It ended how a family day is supposed to end. With Pizza for everyone, beer for the parents and a hot cocoa for the little boy. After some family shots, we took him to bed together, I, as the mommy, read him a good night story, and Daddy fell asleep, before Damien could close his eyes.
